At I AM Strands & Beauty Hair and Beauty Thrift Store, we strive to provide quality products and excellent customer service. Because many of our items are donated, gently used, refurbished, or one-of-a-kind, please review our Return & Refund Policy before making a purchase.

Return Process

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return by following these steps:

Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order or making your in-store purchase.

Please provide:

• Your name
• Order number or receipt
• Item(s) you wish to return
• Reason for the return
• Photos of the item if it is damaged or incorrect

Return Authorization:

Our customer service team will review your request and provide return instructions if your return is approved.

Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Return the Item:

Items must be:

• Returned within 14 days of approval.
• In their original condition.
• Returned with original packaging, tags, and accessories (if applicable).

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

• The wrong item was shipped.
• The item arrived damaged.
• The item is defective.

Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or incorrect:

• Clearance or Final Sale items
• Customized or personalized products
• Free Items

Refund Process

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to:

Exchanges

If the item is available, we will gladly exchange it at no additional cost.

If the item is no longer available, we may offer:

Store Credit

In certain situations, I AM Strands & Beauty may issue store credit instead of a refund, including:

• Returns made without the original receipt (when proof of purchase can be verified)
• Promotional purchases
• Special circumstances approved by management

Store credit has no cash value and may only be used for future purchases unless otherwise required by law.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item:

• Photos of the item
• Photos of the packaging (if applicable)

We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before they are shipped.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the return process.
